Residential Multi-Family Property Manager

CFH Group is one of the industry's leaders and innovators in property management with approximately 6,000 multi-family units and a continued expansion of our ownership portfolio. We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager. The candidate would be responsible for all phases of the operation of a property of 220 units including general appearance and upkeep, supervision of staff, occupancies, and operational and financial performance. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor and be computer literate. Must have experience in the management industry. CAM Lic. prefferred; Yardi software knowledgeable and is preferred.

The job scope includes but is not limited to the following duties:

  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced workplace and effectively prioritize job duties
  • Monitor the operating budget; submit regular reports on property status such as variance and occupancy reports
  • Maintain budgeted occupancy levels at approved rental rates
  • Collect specified rents, delinquent rents, file evictions and approve write-offs as necessary
  • Assist with eviction of residents in compliance with court orders and directions from owner's attorneys
  • Construction and vendor Agreements and oversee projects at the property level
  • Employ or contract for services of leasing consultants, maintenance techs, grounds keeping personnel, on-site management personnel, and security when applicable
  • Supervise hiring process of subordinates
  • Attend to resident issues and needs, including neighbor disputes, renewals, maintenance issues, and all other matters relating to residents and act as owner's representative of the company
  • Administer all lease agreements
  • Develop superior Tenant/Client relations
  • Assist leasing agents as necessary to close deals

Residential Multi-Family Maintenance Technician (Pompano Beach, FL)

CFH Group is currently seeking a full-time, hourly employee to assist with general maintenance for a rental community in Pompano Becah, FL. This candidate will ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are functional and properly maintained. This position will direct to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Property Manager.  Must have an A/C license, have knowledge of appliance repair, and prior experience in a property management company is a plus. All duties will be assigned according to their urgency, including but not limited to the following:

  •  Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to a Supervisor
  • Organize, prioritize and ensure service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner
  • Safely handle all related equipment and keep it clean, maintained and stored properly
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies at appropriate levels
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills as you will be interacting regularly with residents, co-workers, and vendors
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to adhere to budgeted guidelines
  • Work with the Maintenance supervisor to ensure physical condition of community is maintained according to company operations and safety standards
  • Occasionally purchase parts or appliances, run errands as needed
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time; lifting/moving/carrying heavy equipment regularly. May be exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold or rain while working outdoors
  • Hardworking and self-motivated, able to multitask in fast-paced workplace and effectively prioritize job duties
  • Be able to work some weekends and/or holidays
  • Often attend and participate in technical training programs to maintain personal skill level
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy such as removing garbage or debris, touch up painting, or replacing parts as needed.
